Bees at work

The apricot tree bloomed yesterday. The bees were quick to find it and go to work. The apple trees should soon follow but may be delayed due to this week’s cold forecast.

Installed two hives of bees today

Since we had some losses over the winter we bought two packages of Carniolans. It went well. No one was stung and the bees seem to be adapting.
